Mark Roberts Bio –
Just like the lyrics to the theme of WKRP in Cincinnati, I’ve been to town to town, up and dial the dial during my radio career. From California, Oregon, Washington, and back to California. I’ve always enjoyed listening to the radio so I knew what I wanted to do growing up.
There were many radio DJs I listened to that became my “Radio Heroes”. In school I would not pay attention in class because I was wondering what my favorite DJs were playing on the radio.
My first time on the air was on my 14th birthday, I got to meet one of my favorite DJs and he let me read a weather forecast. I was nervous, but he said I was a natural so I thought maybe I can be just like my radio heroes.
I enjoy taking the ride home with you weekdays from 3 – 7PM & playing Country favorites & sharing information about The Legends of Country during The Classic Country Jukebox Sunday mornings from 8AM – 12PM.
